The Atlantic Canada Pipe Band Association and the Antigonish Highland Society jointly sponsored a very successful evening of piobaireachd competitions in Antigonish.

Convenors for the evening were Brenda Riley and Janis MacLellan-Peters, the current and past presidents of the Piobaireachd Society of Antigonish, which hosted the event.

This year there were eighteen entries from Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Ontario and New Zealand.

The judges for the evening were Bob Worrall of Burlington, ON and Bruce Gandy of Dartmouth, NS. Master of Ceremonies was ACPBA Chief Steward, Rick Crawford.

The final results were as follows:
