In an effort to enhance the massed band experience for players and our audiences, the Atlantic Canada Pipe Band Association will adopt a Massed Band List which will be used during ACPBA and non–ACPBA massed bands performances, parades, concerts and competitions. It is our intention that bands within the association and outside of the association will adopt these new tunes in order to expand our playing lists and for the listening pleasure of audiences. The music has been provided for playing uniformity. These massed band tunes will be used in 2010.

In addition to this list, a massed band drummer’s fanfare is also being completed to allow drummers the opportunity to perform at massed band events as a single unit. The drum fanfare will allow drummers of all levels to participate. It is hoped the drummers fanfare will be distributed in time for use in 2010.
