The Halifax Citadel School of Piping and Drumming are still accepting entries for the first of three "Mini-Gatherings", the first being held on February 4th (start time 10am) at the North Magazine, Halifax Citadel National Historic Site of Canada. Event organizer Roderick MacLean noted in a recent email that he will accept entries by phone, fax or email until Thursday, February 2nd at 5 pm.

The series of "Mini-Gatherings" running throughout the winter are a competition for practice chanter students and amateur pipers Grades 1-5. If you're on the practice chanter and can manage even one tune then we encourage you to come out and play. The remaining events will be held on the first Saturday in March and April.
