ON THE DAY - THE SPIRIT OF SCOTLAND PIPE BAND STORY

The Atlantic Canada Pipe Band Association invites you to join us at your local Cineplex for the story of piping and drumming at its best in the documentary On the Day. This documentary by filmmaker John McDonald is 80-minute chronicle of the organization and competition day of the Grade 1 Spirit of Scotland Pipe Band at the 2008 World Pipe Band Championships at Glasgow Green, Scotland. The screening will take place in selected Canadian Cineplex theatres from Victoria, British Columbia, to St. John's, Newfoundland.

The screening of the documentary will take place Wednesday February 9 and/or Sunday February 13 at selected Empire Theatre locations in the Maritime provinces.   Click here for more info on the show times. Advance tickets went on sale via Cineplex outlets and online on January 14th. Tickets will be priced at $12.95 for General, and Child/Senior $10.95. A special rate of $9.95/ticket has been secured for groups of 20 or more.
