THE PIPERS CLUB IS BACK IN 2011

The Pipers Club will be holding three sessions this winter. The dates are:

• Saturday, February 5
• Saturday, March 12
• Saturday, April 2

The sessions will be held at the same venue:

Christ Church Hall (map)
61 Dundas Street (just off Ochterloney)
Dartmouth, NS

Doors will open at 7 p.m., with music starting shortly after 8 p.m., with our featured performers and then the ceilidh portion will follow. The ceilidh is where we encourage anyone to get up an do a ‘turn’. (Don’t forget, if you perform in the ceilidh, you get free admission). We are just awaiting confirmation from a couple of our guest players and I’ll follow up with a reminder email and notice of featured players in a few days.

Don’t forget about the Halifax Citadel Mini-Gatherings, which start next Saturday (January 29). The gatherings are held in the North Magazine (red brick building) inside the Citadel, commencing at 10:00 am.

The February and March mini-gatherings will be on the same dates as the Pipers Club, so you can make a piping day of it.  Looking forward to seeing old friends again and hearing some great playing in the coming months. See you there.
